Bittersweet are the moments between the last few hours of Ramadan and the entering of Eid. A joyous time to celebrate the happiness of a holiday that Allah has declared for us to enjoy, yet a sad departure of the most blessed month of the year. While celebrating this time with family and friends, we should remember those who have neither. To the ill, those going through hardships, the oppressed, and those who are silently suffering, Eid Mubarak to you. It is said that, “Whoever used to worship for the sake of Ramadan, then Ramadan has passed, but whoever worshipped for the sake of Allah, then Allah is always with us and shall never pass.” The end of Ramadan doesn’t mean the end of asking of Allah for every little thing and the visiting of His houses. Allah is still and always here.
May we witness many more Ramadans and celebrate many more Eids. Eid Mubarak to you and yours.
