Hilal Ibrahim was born in San Diego and raised in Minnesota. From an early age, she was drawn to design, culture, and the power of fashion to shape identity. Over the years, she built a career that blends creative direction, business strategy, and leadership across multiple industries—experience that ultimately inspired her to create her own fashion house.

In 2016, Hilal founded Henna & Hijabs (H&H), a brand rooted in purposeful design and modern luxury. What began as a bold idea quickly evolved into a celebrated fashion label and one of the first of its kind to be carried by Nordstrom.
